Life here at Mayflower is all about family — two-legged and four-legged alike. Our puppies are born right in our home and raised in the heart of family life. From day one, they’re surrounded by love, laughter, and the steady rhythm of everyday living — kids playing, coffee brewing, and life happening all around them.
Our home sits on beautiful open land where our dogs have plenty of space to explore, play, and just be dogs. They wrestle in the sunshine, nap in the shade, and learn to trust the people who care for them. Every moment — from their first wobbly steps to their playful adventures — is spent in an environment that’s safe, enriching, and full of affection.
We don’t just raise puppies; we nurture confident, well-loved companions who are ready to step into your home already knowing what it feels like to belong. By the time a Mayflower puppy goes home, they’ve been socialized, snuggled, and shown what it means to be part of a family.
It’s not just breeding for us — it’s building a foundation of love, trust, and connection that lasts a lifetime.

About us
We’re a homeschool family living out in the country, where there’s always room to run, explore, and play—especially for our four-legged family members. Our love for doodles began with our sweet Maple, a seven-year-old blonde labradoodle with the gentlest heart and the sharpest mind. She’s truly a once-in-a-lifetime dog—the kind that made us fall in love with this breed’s loyal, loving, and smart personality.
When we decided to add another dog to our family, we welcomed Fern, our red poodle who’s as cuddly and kind as they come. With Fern, we’ve been able to learn and grow as a family—raising our first litter of labradoodle puppies together with our kids.
Every puppy is raised right here in our home, loved on and played with all day by our kids, and socialized with other dogs. From the moment they’re born, they’re part of the family. We take great care to make sure they grow up confident, well-adjusted, and ready to bring joy to their new homes.
While we’re not a large-scale breeder, we plan to continue learning and growing—raising happy, healthy doodles with the same love and care that made us fall for the breed in the first place.
At Mayflower Doodles, our goal is simple: to raise family companions who bring warmth, laughter, and love wherever they go.

Socialization starts early here. Our puppies are part of our daily life from day one — hearing household sounds, being gently handled, and getting used to people of all ages. We introduce new experiences little by little so that when they go home, they’re confident, curious, and ready to adjust to your family’s rhythm.

Absolutely! While each of our puppies has a name here at Mayflower Doodles, we don’t train them to respond to it — it’s just how we keep everyone straight. Once your puppy joins your family, they’ll catch on to their new name quickly with a little love and consistency.

Every Mayflower puppy is examined by our trusted vet and receives age-appropriate vaccinations and deworming. We take their health seriously from the very beginning so that each one goes home happy, healthy, and thriving.

You’ll receive your puppy’s health records, a sample of their current food, and a comfort item like a blanket or toy that smells like their littermates. We also send you home with helpful tips and guidance for feeding, potty training, and making those first few days smooth and stress-free.

We love helping families connect with their future puppy! Depending on the age of the litter and our current health and safety guidelines, we offer in-person visits or video calls. Our goal is always to make sure you find the perfect fit for your home and lifestyle.

A little bit of both! Our puppies start their lives inside our home, right alongside us. For the first few weeks, they’re kept in a warm, quiet space where mom can care for them and we can keep a close eye on every milestone.
Around four weeks old, we begin introducing them to the great outdoors — short play sessions in the yard, new sounds, new smells, and lots of sunshine. As they grow and the weather allows, they spend more and more time outside exploring and playing.
By the time your puppy goes home, they’ll be comfortable both indoors and out — and well socialized thanks to plenty of attention from our family (especially the kids!).

No — all of our puppies are sold as pets only. Our goal is for each puppy to go to a loving home where they’ll be cherished and cared for throughout their life. Keeping breeding within our program helps ensure the puppies’ health, well-being, and happy, stable homes.
